As part of our commitment to reducing the environmental impacts of our business Cox Skips have taken delivery of replacement Roll on off vehicles that will meet the requirements of the expanded Low Emission Zones operating throughout the Greater London area. This new generation of vehicles will enhance our ability to provide all clients with a service that meets the ever increasing demands for environmental improvement.

Cox Skips are delighted to announce the arrival of a new high reach Liebherr Tele Grab. This new equipment will work alongside existing plant to improve further our recycling rates. This equipment also assists in improved efficiencies with a faster load rate.
Joint Managing Director Sean Cox comments “We decided on the Liebherr as the proffered choice due to its adaptability. As we continue into 2012 we plan to further improve our operations with significant investment.”
Cox Skips have once again acheived the ISO quality standard for its operations. This well recognised standard is an indication of our commitment to providing the best quality of service to our customers whilst ensuring that our operations and staff remain safe in the workplace and environmental considerations remain high on our agenda.

On the 19 June 2010 Cox Skips announced the transfer of its business from a Partnership to Cox Skips Ltd. The Management and Ownership of the business remains unchanged and our customers will see little change as we continue to provide the same high standard of service.
Cox Skips continue to grow with the addition of 3 Roll on Roll off vehicles. These trucks are designed to transport heavy and bulky waste in large quantities. The additional vehicles have been purchased to assist with the ever increasing number of contracts that Cox Skips are managing across the South East.
April 2010 has seen Cox Skips reach the highest recycling rate in its trading history of over 30 years. The Recycling Centre based near Gatwick Airport has achieved a 92% recycling rate for the first time. Materials recycled include timber, metal, glass, cardboard, paper, plastic, plasterboard, and construction waste. In a statement Sean Cox (Managing Director) described the news as “a real achievement that demonstrates our commitment to meeting the demands of our increasing client base”.
